Our commitment to helping our community extends far beyond home inspections.
Hope Home Inspections was built on the philosophy of Helping Other People Everyday. That mission extends beyond the inspection report and into our community.
We proudly support several charitable events and organizations throughout Southwest Florida. From local food drives to community fundraisers, we believe in giving back to the communities that trust us with their homes.
Hope Home Inspections was created with a mission to give back to those in need. The “hope” in our name is based on the concept of spreading “hope” in the world, which is why our company participates in many charitable events and organizations.
Below is a glimpse of the wonderful events our Hope Home Inspections team has been part of.
Due to so many families facing financial challenges, many participate in the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program to help provide their children with gifts during the holiday season. In this program, people within the community pick an angel from the tree at a certain location and then donate presents to this specific child based on their wishes. However, on average, 400 children are not selected from an Angel Tree by anyone each year; these are the Forgotten Angels. For the 2017 holiday season, Hope Home Inspections became a toy donation center for the Forgotten Angels’ Toy Stock Pile, which gives these unselected children presents to help make their wishes come true.
Hope Home Inspections joined the local community of the Making Strides of Sarasota-Manatee Walk presented by Benderson Development to help finish the fight against breast cancer. Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is partnered with the American Cancer Society, and such events are designed to celebrate survivors, increase awareness, and raise funds to help save lives. The money Hope Home Inspections donated to this event was used to fund research, provide information to increase cancer prevention, and financially help those facing this horrible disease.

SPARCC was formed as a non-profit agency in 1979. They are the only state-certified center for domestic violence and sexual assault services for Sarasota and DeSoto Counties. All of SPARCC’s services are free and confidential. When survivors of violence seek for safety and security at SPARCC, they often do so without financial resources. In addition to shelter, they provide food and other basic necessities to these families in their time of crisis. There are certain items they need on an ongoing basis.
The Feline Friends Organization of SWFL is strictly volunteer-based. Their mission is to control the breeding cycle of community cats through Trap- Neuter- Vaccinate- Return (TNVR) and to help outdoor cats and kittens in need.
TNVR has been internationally accepted as the most humane and effective method of controlling the outdoor cat population in our communities.
Feline Friends of SWFL does not relocate cats. The cats they trap have learned to survive where they find them; relocating them is not in their best interest or in the best interest of the community. There is a “vacuum effect” that happens when cats are removed from a location. New cats will appear in the newly available territory, and they will take the place of the removed cats.

Mr. Grey was once a stray cat who received TLC from Theresa and Mary, a volunteer with Feline Friends, for approximately 5 years at the office spaces of Hope Home. Grey has now found his forever home with one of Hope’s employees.
Without Mary and the Feline Friends Organization, Mr. Grey and thousands of other cats would not be as healthy as they are today.
After Hurricane Ian, we knew that we needed to help people in need. We offered Post-Storm inspections, and for each inspection scheduled, we donated $25 to relief programs. We rounded up $4,300 in under a month!
We split that donation fund between the following:
1. The YMCA of SWFL
2. The Humane Society- helping displaced animals
3. The Red Cross
Our end goal was to not only inform people of their homes’ condition after such an impactful storm like Ian, but also to help people and animals recover from the damage.
We couldn’t have done it without the support of our staff, agents, and clients who spread the word!
Here at Hope Home Inspections, we truly appreciate and honor our military and first responders for protecting our nation and local community. As a small way of saying thank you to those who have given so much, Hope Home Inspections offers a discount on a full home inspection for these service members.
*** In order to receive this discount, we ask that proof of service be provided.
